About Our Plastic Surgery Practice

Dr. Bogdan founded 2301 Plastic Surgery in 2008 with a simple standard: every patient should get the training, judgment, and safety of a major academic center, in a private office where people know their name. What began as a solo practice is now a 6,665-square-foot facility with its own QuadA accredited surgical suite and two operating rooms, and a team of three fellowship-trained plastic surgeons who together have performed more than 5,000 cosmetic surgical procedures.

Three Surgeons, One Standard

Dr. Bogdan has never grown the practice for the sake of growing. Each surgeon who has joined him was hand-selected for exceptional training, surgical skill, and the way they treat patients, and each works to the clinical standards he has set over nearly two decades.

Michael A. Bogdan, MD, MBA, FACS, Founder. Stanford-trained and fellowship-trained in aesthetic surgery in New York, Dr. Bogdan learned facelift and rhinoplasty from the surgeons who defined those operations. He was elected to the Board of Directors of The Aesthetic Society and has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2019 and to Texas Super Doctors every year since 2016. Roger W. Cason, MD. Dr. Cason completed six years of plastic surgery training at Duke University, followed by an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. Widely published and board certified, he joined Dr. Bogdan in 2023 and is known for the time he spends with every patient. Meet Dr. Cason

Jay Xue, MD. The newest member of the team, Dr. Xue trained in plastic surgery at UC Davis, completed a craniofacial fellowship at UC San Diego, where he later served on the faculty, and studied advanced rhinoplasty in Seoul. His background in facial structure makes him a natural fit for rhinoplasty, eyelid, and facial rejuvenation patients. Meet Dr. Xue
