Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 949
This patient chose to pursue rhinoplasty after experiencing longstanding nasal asymmetry related to prior trauma. Her goals included correcting a noticeable deviation, addressing the dorsal hump, and refining the tip of her nose for improved balance with her facial features. After consulting with Dr. Jay Xue, she elected to proceed with open rhinoplasty to achieve these specific changes.
During her procedure, Dr. Xue addressed the deviations from her prior injury by reshaping the nasal bones and cartilage. The goal was to achieve a straighter nasal profile while removing the dorsal hump and enhancing the definition of the nasal tip. The surgical plan prioritized both aesthetics and nasal function, preserving the natural character of her nose while providing improvements aligned with her treatment goals.
